Hi! My name is Wendy, and I am the founder of Sweaty Chix Fitness™.  Sweaty Chix Fitness started in 2005 when I couldn’t get a job with a gym. They told me that I didn’t “look like a fitness instructor”. So, I decided to start my own group fitness hangout where people could work out without the pressure of wearing spandex and sports bras.  It grew from one facility, 1 instructor and 4 students to 3 facilities, over 20 instructors and over 2000 students in just a couple of years. Sweaty Chix Fitness has always been about helping people, mostly women, feel good about who they are, no matter the age, shape or pants size. Real fitness for real women!

In 2017 we decided to make a leap. There's something special about being a Group Exercise (GX) Instructor. GX instructors are confident, energetic, caring and inclusive, and we truly believe that they can change the world. We also believe that there is a GX instructor inside all of us!  We've created our formats to be simple, easy to design and super fun so that new instructors could have the confidence to get started and experienced instructors could become ROCKSTARS!  

We also know that group exercise students are busy and don't have time to cross train. So, we've made sure that each of our formats contain all three elements of fitness: strength, cardio, and flexibility. Your students will love you your classes because they are the real deal and they will love you because you are amazing!

Meet Your Trainers

Anjali Boden

Anjali is an SCF Drench Instructor and Master Trainer and has been into fitness for as long as she can remember. She is a great dancer as well as trained athlete. Her favorite classes are the ones that push her the hardest. When she's not in the gym, she loves spending time with her husband and two children.

Kim Yost

On top of being an SCF Master Trainer, Kim is vital to the Sweaty Chix Fitness "behind-the-scenes" machine. She started teaching group fitness classes 12 years and loves teaching dance. When not on the floor, she can be found doing new home projects with her husband and children.

Brook Brush

Brook was one of the first people certified in the SCF Drench format. She has a lot of H.I.I.T. group fitness experience and transitioned easily into Master Trainer mode. She loves any format that includes jumping, and she is a terrific cycle instructor as well. She loves being in the gym, but more than that, she loves being with her husband and 2 darling kiddos.

Mindy Zobell

Mindy is an SCF Master Trainer and has been teaching SCF Drench since its onset. Mindy is a natural gymnast, athlete and GX superstar. Her classes are always packed and attracts the hard core crowd. She loves the outdoors and spending time with her husband and three babies.
